Dr. Emerson Bull Chief is the owner and manager of 7 Bison Cultural Consulting. Dr. Bull Chief received his PhD at Montana State University in Anthropology in American Studies. Dr. Bull Chief was the former THPO for the Apsáalooke Nation and the former project coordinator for the Native American Fish and Wildlife Societies’ Chronic Wasting Disease Program with over 12 years of management experience.
Dr. Timothy McCleary is a professional archaeologist with over 20 years in cultural resource protection. Dr. McCleary has been the Tribal Archaeologist for the Apsáalooke Nation since 1999 until 2016 and received his PhD in Archaeology from the University of Illinois: Urban Champaign in 2008. Dr. McCleary has the ability to bring projects in on time and under budget. With experience in field logistics, practical project experience, and applicable State and Federal laws, Dr. McCleary has a valuable skill set that could be put to use by companies and government agencies.
Darrin Old Coyote is the former Chairman of the Crow Tribe. He has served 12 years as an elected official. He has formerly been a Crow language teacher and the Crow Tribal Cultural Affairs Director. He was instrumental in the Crow Tribal Historic Preservation Act that created the Crow Tribe’s Tribal Historic Preservation Office. Recently he has served as an energy consultant and is currently a Governmental Affairs Advisor for The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikira Nation and for 7 Bison Cultural Consulting.
